The association has helped out in the technical production of the tournaments and has provided the board games that will be given out as awards.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h5>Signing up for the online tournaments<\/h5>\n<p>Links to sign-up forms and further information on participating in online board game tournaments is available on Ropecon&#8217;s Discord server on the <b>#lautapelit<\/b> channel. Please note that participating in the online tournaments requires the Premium membership of <a href=\"https:\/\/fi.boardgamearena.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BoardGameArena<\/a>: all tournament games are in the Premium game category in BGA, which means that a Premium memebership is needed in order to set up a table for those games. All tournament participants must be able to set up the table for the game (the duty to set up the table is assigned at random). For the match result reporting it will be the responsibility of participants in slots #2 and #3. Participant in slot #4 is responsible for posting the table url to the tournament discord channel, thus allowing other ones to participate in the match as visitors.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5>The common tournament placing will be following:<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1st round: Random<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2nd round and onwards: The players are grouped based on their strength (points so far in the tournament) and organisers try to place players so that a player does not have several matches against the same person.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The number of rounds depends on the number of players participating in the tournament.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2 rounds + final match for 16 participants. If deemed necessary then there shall be one semi-final round extra.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3 rounds + final match for 32 participants. If deemed necessary then there shall be one semi-final round extra.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4 rounds + final match for 64 participants. If deemed necessary then there shall be one semi-final round extra.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All tournament games are played in real time. If a player does not play their turn within a given time limit, give the player 30 seconds of grace time. When the 30 seconds of grace has passed, press \u201cSkip turn\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If a participant notices that they cannot make their turn due to some technical issues, for example bad internet connection or something similar, they should <a href=\"https:\/\/forum.boardgamearena.com\/viewtopic.php?t=3230\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">concede<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the game.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5>Preparation for tournaments<\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Oheiset ohjeet varmistavat sujuvat turnauspelit:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Check the participant list and add each participant of the tournament as your BGA friends.
